I'd like to know when it became a bad thing to be elite?

Ok - I joined Facebook. But again, since I am pretty much computer illiterate, can anyone tell me if there is stuff on there that is NSFW? One of these days I'll buy my own computer, but for now I just have to make do.

A vote for either of the two major party candidate is not a vote for change, it's a vote for status quo. As long as you vote for a major party candidate you are endorsing politics as usual in this country, which is fine if that is ok with you, nothing wrong with that. But the people who think they are voting for change and are voting for either of the two "legitimate" candidates are fooling themselves IMHEO (In My Humble Elitist Opinon). :)

Jim, don't hold back on your blog, let us know what you really think about Miss Shank. ;-)

Amy - Take it from an expert. ;)

Facebook is pretty clean - unlike most of the internet, it is very easy to trace anything NSFW back to a real live person - with a real live email account, and a possibility to get yourself banned for breaking their Terms of Service.

So, you should be pretty safe there :)

Hey Chris. Nothing new here either. Now that the election is over, everything seems so quiet.

Chris - As of today, I have only found one black widow spider in my suburban Northern Virginia home. What is going on!?!?

The family wheeled Grandma out
on the lawn, in her wheelchair, where the activities for
her 100th birthday were taking place. Grandma couldn't
speak very well, but she would write notes when she needed
to communicate.

After a short time out on the
lawn, Grandma started leaning off to the right, so some
family members grabbed her, straightened her up, and stuffed pillows on her right.

A short time later, she started
leaning off to her left, so again the family grabbed her
and stuffed pillows on her left.

Soon she started leaning
forward, so the family members again
grabbed her, and then tied a pillowcase around her waist
to hold her up.

A nephew who arrived late came
up to Grandma and said, "Hi, Grandma, you're
looking good! How are they treating you?"

Grandma took out her little
notepad and slowly wrote a note to
the nephew......

"They won't let me
fart."

Hey everyone! If you'll be in the Northern Virginia area the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, 28 November, stop by Shenanigans for a mini-reunion. Plan to arrive around 7ish. If you'd like further details, contact Kate Green (Marr), Stacey McCue or Amy Harper.

I had to pick Thanksgiving or Christmas to come home on. I chose Christmas, so I'm gonna miss the party. Drink a couple for me!
