It's so hard to believe that 20 years have passed! How do you summarize what has happened to you in 20 years?
I went to Nova, got an Associate's degree then transferred to Mason. I was a Psychology major. The funds ran out and I had to go back to work full-time, so I temporarily put off my degree. I am going back to school in the Fall for my elementary education degree.
I was the one who never wanted to get married, but I did in Oct. 2008. I love Halloween, so it was the perfect time of year. Shortly after my daughter, Audrey, was born in 2003, I realized that my husband was not what I thought he was, so I separated from him when Audrey was 9 months old and I have been a single, full-time mother ever since. She is so amazing, but of course I am biased. She is so funny; always wants to put on a fashion show, yet she is very tomboy-ish and most of her friends are boys. She will be in Kindergarten in the Fall. I can hardly believe it!
I am a teacher for a government-sponsored agency, and I love it. Currently, I teach 3 year olds. I love it; every day is different and challenging but so rewarding. I love teaching. I truly believe that is what I was destined to do, yet I long to be with older children, hence, the decision to go back to school. |

School Story: |
|
I remember the fun times at cheerleading camp at UVA. We were so cute and peppy!:) I don't have any Wild stories of my high school days, mostly because I worked throughout those years. Sadly, I missed out on alot, but I made up for it in the "college years." My older sister was always in trouble and my mom was always embarassing her, so I tried to stear clear of teenage havoc.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion and for a much needed Mom's Night Out!:) |
