Memories....
I definitely have some happy memories of my time at LCHS....my junior prom with Andy Cruz, laughing with my friends as we finalized the layout for the Crossed Sabres magazine, my senior year with Derek Jay and our fun times together.
A Fresh Start.....
But, I'd be lying if I said that my years at LCHS were the happiest four years of my life, because they weren't. I was very reserved when I was in high school and didn't allow myself the opportunity to enjoy those four years as much as I wish I had. So, the real fun began for me after I left LCHS and moved away to Richmond, where I attended Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). I had the opportunity to make a fresh start in Richmond and make new friends. I was a founding sister of a new sorority chapter at VCU and graduated with a degree in Marketing.
Today.....
After I graduated from college, I moved back to the Washington, DC area and immediately started my career in the commercial real estate industry. Over the last fifteen years, my entire focus has been on my career and while I'm very proud of my hard work and accomplishments, I do plan to start thinking about settling down in the near future. Currently, I am the Director of Research and Marketing for a national commercial real estate firm and I own a home in McLean, Virginia. |

My goddaughter, Camille Bavera, and I. Camille is the daughter of another Class of 88 LCHS graduate, Pam (Thompson) Bavera.
